Shadow Syndicate Chasin File: Variant Graphic Novel Cover

The spirit of this piece means a lot to me in so many ways...and personally this is for my Mom, my family members who were able to escape Cuba and more importantly as HOPE for my family still living in oppression in Cuba right now. Yes, right now.
How cool would it be if Colonel Chasin's Rogue Team snuck into La Habana, took out the whole corrupted Communist system and actually (FINALLY) LIBERATED CUBA?!!
This variant cover is intended to be in the style and vein of military video games and how crazy, fun and over the top they are sometimes.
It was illustrated for a Graphic Novel "Shadow Syndicate-Chasin File" with Latino-Based company in Miami, Flamewrite Entertainment. I have drawn plenty of comics as a kid with my own characters and stories but working on a professional comic cover is something I have never done before. When I initially spoke with founder of Flamewrite and author of the novel, Johnathan Naranjo, about doing this cover we inevitably talked about our Hispanic heritage and how incredible it was to be a part of a Latino-based comic representing a Latino-Based Entertainment company. Discussing how my Mom, Tio and mis abuelos were able to escape Cuba when she was in her early teens and how Fucked up Cuba was back then and still is today, an idea sparked.
There really was no need for a discussion after that, it was decided.
To be clear this "Fictional Cuba" I conjured for the cover is a dream I have everyday, but the Graphic Novel story itself is super badass and waaaaay different from my fictional concept for the cover.
As if that wasn't enough passion...there's more.
What is really incredible about this Graphic Novel is the fact that the story itself is inspired by the Author's personal tragedy due to PTSD/Depression and the comic raised funds for Mental Health Awareness during its Kickstarter campaign.
Support for Mental Health, a Latino-Based company and I get to create an image of Hope for Cubans too. I'm all in.
Each character was 3D modeled as well as the Cuban architecture on the front cover.
