Candy Cane Lane: Pepper Alternate look

These are my concepts that were finalized for Pepper's alternate look in Candy Cane Lane. This is a good example of something that happens sometimes in film costume dept.. During costume manufacturing, last changes like props, fabric availability, a changed mind about a detail, etc, can happen that result in a slightly different look in the movie. Additionally, the Director may have ideas for a "fantasy hire" and he or she will want to see that actor or actress' likeness in the illustration. In this case, I did 2 different illustrations for all the presentations, Kristen Wiig and Aidy Bryant. Due to actor/actress schedules and availability, he or she could change when it's getting closer to production.

Funny enough this movie is about the Christmas culture nearby where I was born and raised in the Beach Cities in the SouthBay (Southern California). Happy Holidays!
