Supergirl S1: Martian Manhunter

Back in 2015 I got called to help out on Supergirl season1.
After lots of exploration, this is where we ended up with the final design. I had a lot of fun on this iconic character!
It was important to keep in mind the fundamental shapes from artist Joe Certa's original but at the same time needed to have WAY more skin coverage. Some looks in the various comics throughout the years incorporated more clothing and coverage.
It ultimately needed to maintain a tactical feel while also needed to clothe the majority of the actor.
