PREY: Naru

These are some of my concepts for Naru.
Her name translates to "fight" in Comanche, I had such a great time working on this film and specifically this character.
I worked with director Dan Trachtenberg with guidance from producer Jhane Myers on the war paint designs.
I always have a blast collaborating with costume designer Stephanie Porter, she provided direction and is always receptive to what I add to the table.
It was always kept in mind to follow the culture and historical time period with Classic Comanche shapes and motifs.
All characters and props were 3D modeled in Zbrush, rendered in Keyshot. War paint concepts and paint over work was done in Photoshop. Hope you enjoy the movie and the artwork!
